the modern suit jackets

I'm am so surprised to find out that no one has redesigned the traditional suit jacket (male or female) i know that traditionally they are supposed to be smart and simplistic but nowadays it doesn't matter what the original purpose of a garment is it can be worn anywhere.
although some designers have brought back traditional tales or designed more fitted jackets no one has taken the idea further.
i am trying to incorporate a suit jacket into my designs with cut out lettering (for my letter lace collection). because of this i wanted to add unusual or modern jacket designs in my contextual but i haven't been able to find any.
I've searched Haute Couture, high street and tailoring designers but found nothing.
what a let down!

when actually researching into gaga i have found some really quite nice out comes but mainly from before she was really famous.

finally something half decent from lady gaga

this Charlie Le Mindu flamingo dress is possible the best thing i have seen lady gaga wearing and she actually pulls it of with out ruining it!
well done Stefani  Germanotta you might have finally cracked it :)

This is georgie rees competion entry which i modeled for on the 30th/1/11

These are some of my new designs I've decided to start and design a collection rather than a range of vaguely linked designs so here is the first

 This was a style concept for using a simple jacket i had made and the letter link my work is based on. the letter link used in this one is made from thin card but i have also made it out of think felt and fleece.

my charity concert

seeing as my mum had to spend some time in st micheals hospice when she was rediagnosed with cancer.
i have decided to arrange a charity concert to raise money for the hospice. thankfully my mum is at home and is having treatment at home.
the concert is on the 10th of february at hereford college of arts at 7pm £5 on the door.
im getting so nervous!
keep the stress level high!

sat in college with my boyfriend, him in his usually sexy trackies (the only man i know who can fully pull it off (in my opinion though i suppose i am biased)) they are worn so much they are nearly worn through the on the bum. gotta love an old favourite!
